It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to!

For my birthday John and I decided to do something instead of just working at home! We actually decided to PLAY! We drove my sweet little Opel down to Colorado Springs and went to Garden of the Gods. It was just amazing! What a beautiful place.  We had a blast! 
 The clouds in the distance were very threating! We did get a few drops, but not much. The rocks were just awesome. the views were beautiful, the company was great! It looks somewhat like Southern Utah with the red rocks. The difference was the trees everywhere. Pikes Peak is in the FAR distance, the highest point in Colorado, I think. It is the place where the woman who wrote the National Athem got her inspiration from.
I thought this tree was so pretty. The green contrast with the red rocks was beautiful.
This spot takes up about 490 acreas of georgeousness! A family donated it to the state of Colorado to be public land. Free to the public forever! It really is an unbelievable place. If you ever come to Colorado it is a must see! After us of course!  Zoom in on this pic and see if you can find the hidden "finger".
Thank you Johnny for such a great day with you! He even took me eat Chinese for lunch! (not his favorite) After all it is MY birthday!  Thanks to my kids for the awesome digital photo frame!  It was a beautiful day! It is too bad birthdays only come once a year! J/K!!!!!

On the road again!

John had to travel up through Wyoming and Montana this past week and I decided to go along!

It was such a great trip! While in Billings Montana I went to the temple there while John went on a work day. It was so beautiful, I enjoyed it so much.
 In Wyoming we went past Custer's last stand historical place. It was really interesting to read about what happened there. A part of history I have forgotten about. What a sad time in our history! We were mean!
This is a tribute the Indians there have as a memorial for the Indians that lost their lives also. It was really neat to see and read what they had to say about it.
All the markers are the actual places where men where shot down. They were everywhere! John hates this shirt on me, no I am not pregnant!
 I have always had it in my mind that Wyoming is not a very pretty state, well this proves I am WRONG! It was very beautiful and green. The mountains were covered with snow and it was awesome! I am so glad I got to go with Johnny! This picture is somewhere around Sheridan or Buffalo. Isn't it beautiful!

Reasons to be happy I'm a Mother!

   My wonderful son Aaron! He has always been so good to me. We really have a great relationship!  Thanks son. Love ya much!
  My wonderful daughter Emily! We have a special connection! Thanks for your love baby! Love you much too.
My baby girl Alexis. We have a special friendship that I love. Can't live without ya! Love ya tons too!
My special friend, my mother-in- law Betty. She makes me want to be a better person. She is a great example! Love ya!
My sweet little mother! She has always been so sweet to me! I love your strength and your example! Silent but great! Love ya Muth!

Santa Fe New Mexico

    We had such a great trip this past week taking Aaron and Betty Lou to Santa Fe!  The trip was beautiful and perfect! Aaron had a painting in the Oil Painters of America! We are so proud of him! It was awesome to see his art work along side so many other artist! He is a very talented young man! I guess he is 31! So should I say old man! Any way it was great to be able to share the time with him. He and John teased and argued all the way! Imagine that! 
   One day Aaron and I walked the town and went into about 500 galleries! (my feet thought so) It was such a great time spending with Aaron. It brought back alot of memories of going to galleries. Sante Fe is a very neat town! I fell in love with the southwestern look! Everything was so colorfull and bright!
  It was fun to see Aaron with the other artists! 
   This is the painting in the show, the one above his head.  The one of the eaten fish! It is very cool! We are so proud of you son! Good job! It was such a treat to have mom traveling with us! She did so well! She is 82 years you know! She was so fun and made us laugh! We all stayed in the Condo in Santa Fe. We are so glad mom came with us! We went to the Temple in Albuquerque on Sat. It was so nice! Sunday we went to a ward in Sante Fe, that was a great experience also.

We have had a great time! Mom came home with us from Idaho on the 26th of April and stayed until May 5th! I think she was pretty ready to be home, but I think she had a great time! We went to the Denver temple one day, we drove around and found lots of deer, she went to the temple another day when I had to go into Denver, she saw her first Blue Jay!  We just had a blast! Thanks mom for coming! We miss you already! It was so nice to have Aaron see where we live and be at our new home! Thanks Aaron for coming too!
