Christmas day at the Allens

We were so happy to go see our Allen family on Christmas day! We had a nice Ham dinner and stayed the night! Thanks family!

We'll be home for Christmas ALONE that is!

This is our first Christmas alone! I have to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! John spoiled me with my very own Mac computer! It was fun after all! He was pretty spoiled also, sort of! We missed our families and wished you were all here, but maybe another year will have to do!
I awoke in the middle of the night and looked out our bedroom window and what I saw and felt was just beautiful! The snow was glistening and the night was so very peaceful. I thought this must have been what it was like the night our dear Savior was born. I felt His peace and love that beautiful night! We hope you all feel His love for each of us also. Merry Christmas!

It's Christmas at our house!

The Christmas spirit has finally arrived at our home! I wasn't going to put up much this year on the account that we will be ALONE this year, but ya know once you start getting out the stuff you might as well do it all! We miss all of our families and sure hope you all have the Christmas spirit! Love to you all!

Our Thankful Tree

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Montana!
It is so good to be reminded of all the wonderful blessing we receive each day! We are so thankful for each of our children, their spouses and our beautiful grandchildren! We have truly been blessed beyond measure! It was so nice to have grandma and grandpa Anderson with us this year, Kara & Chaffin are always so wonderful to us also. We had so much with their cute family! Thanks guy's! We love you all so much! We made lots of fun things to decorate the tables and lots of good food! The kids even put on a magic show! It was great! We made gingerbread houses and thank you cards. It is so fun to spend time with family! We are thankful! It is always so great to be with Aaron, Hannah, Maddie, Corey and Chloe! We love to visit in Montana! We just can't say enough about how much fun we have there and how much work they all do to entertain us! Thanks ya all!

Happy Halloween!

So I was trying to be creative this Halloween! I looked in my closet and found this dress, which I really did buy while shopping one day with Nancy at an antique store, anyway I decided to dress like an old lady.
As I was doing my hair I looked into my mirror and to my surprise I saw my favorite Aunt Leona! I have not only become my mother- I have also become my Aunt! I must be getting old!
I put on extra green eyeshadow and orange lipstick and my hair was all piled up. I decided to stop by grandma Johnsons and as she opened the door there she found me, or Aunt Leona should I say! Anyway she kept saying how beautiful I looked! Either she is getting blind or I need to change how I am doing my makeup everyday! Any way hope you all had a great Halloween! I quess you have to see this the wrong way until SOMEONE can HELP me with this blogging!
