I crafted all on my own!

I decided to make my cute little Primary kids a birthday gift. I have loved getting to know them, they are so cute! I teach the 8 & 9 year olds this year. I haven't been in Primary for about 15 years. What a difference from Young Women's! Wow! I am loving it so far though.
Any ways, I took the lid off a can of tomatoes with one of those can openers that take the lid off without making a sharp edge, (not sure what it is called). I then wrapped it in the child's favorite color scrap paper and my cute, (well I think it is cute) little poem. I then covered the can with clear sticky paper. I punched a hole in the lid and put a string through a little wooden bead and I am going to fill it with . . . CANDY of course! It was pretty fun creating again with out Pintrest!
