Terry outside his front door! It is always fun to be picked up at the airport in something different! We never know what he will be driving. While stuck in Denver it was Terry's birthday. I can't believe my baby brother is 47 years old! We had cake and ice cream to celebrate! We are lucky we didn't burn down the house with all the candles!

Stuck in Denver!

Well stuck in Denver is not all that bad! We had a great time with Terry and Sophie of course!

We had our ward sledding party last saturday and we had a BLAST! The weather was just perfect as you can see. This first picture is of the first hill we went down and a little girl was on a bug toboggan and she was flying! She got to the bottom of the hill and just kept going! She flew about FIVE FEET in the AIR! She kept going into the parking lot where a truck had just pulled in and she hit the truck! She only got a bloody nose and scared to death!
We were at the top of the hill waiting our turn. I only wish I could have seen her flying through the air! Thank goodness she is okay! We did have lots of fun and John and I were the last to go down the hill! We had to prove we are not too old to have fun! We did get pooped out though! It was a perfect day!

My kids are the best!

Wow I have some great kids! Thanks for always being here for me when I need you. Thanks for the best grandkids in the world! This past summer was really a great time for me. There is nothing more fullfilling as a parent than to know that your children love you and love each other! Thank you all so much for helping me through so many trials. I have been thinking how blessed I have been. I have so much to be grateful for! Thank you Angie and Brett for accepting our family. We love you and we are so happy to be together as a family. We are one big happy family and I thank each of you! I love you all so much! John and I are so grateful this day for you! Thanks for making our lives complete!

We had "snow" much fun sledding with the "kids"! The snow was perfect, the sun was shining, and it was a beautiful day! Thanks "snow" much for coming and playing with us!




Raul went from the road behind us clear to the road in front of us! It was awesome!














Angie even got to drive the tractor! Good job Angie!















Yes, we even got Brett on the sled! It was a great day!

Here I am again!

I know I have already blogged once today but it was so awesome outside I just had to let you see! Wish you were all here to be snowed in with us and so we could play outside!

Snowed In!

Do you think we might be snowed in? This is what it looks like out our front door this morning! Good thing neither of us have to go anywhere! Looks like a scrapbooking day to me! The next picture is how the cats keep warm - in their heated water bowl! Poor kitties! Have a great day! We will!

Caught in the act! I was walking down the stairs earlier and this is what I saw out the front window! Notice the flower in the mouth of the one deer. They are starving - poor things! I'm sure Aaron will love this picture, he doesn't get the chance to see many deer!

This is out our back door! Pirate was so excited to see me outside (i'm sure he thought I had food) anyway he came just a running under the table and through the snow and came to a dead stop when he saw me with the camera! He really is posing for this picture! Smart cat huh! Lots of snow here! We love it!

New Year's Eve

Happy New Year! We actually had a party! We even had fun! See we are not too old! We went out to Lori & Kenny's with Traci & Rand- her new husband (well he's new to her!). We played games like we used to play when we were younger like Pit and Spoons to name a few. It was really a lot of fun being with friends. We of course saw the new year come in and even gave it a toast! You can see Lorie cracking up over something! We just might have another party sometime!

Grandpa's birthday

Happy 55th birthday to Grandpa! He's ready to Rock n Roll with this new guitar! He has been wanting this one for awhile! I finally gave in. But I guess he deserved it!
