Snow day -Sunny day

             Spring weather in Colorado! It rained/snowed for two days here on Friday and Saturday! It is such a WET snow! We really need the moisture though so it is good! This one is Saturday afternoon. This is how much snow my brother had to push to get into our driveway! John actually had to put his car into 4 wheel drive to get through it on Sunday morning!
   The pictures are backwards but you can see the difference from one day to the next ! This one is Sunday afternoon! Sunny and about 50 degrees!
     This one is Saturday morning! We ended up getting probably about 16 inches! The trees were so heavy with snow! It was beautiful! Luckly we didn't loose any trees!

   This one is  Saturday afternoon! They say if you don't like the weather in Colorado wait for 10 minutes! It really does change from day to day here! Friday and Saturday was  winter storm warnings with power outages everywhere and roads closed! We didn't go anywhere all day and the school had a snow day!  Sunday at 10:00 a.m. we went to church with no coats! CRAZY days!

My baby girl Alexis!

Shame, shame on me! How could I not post anything about my sweet baby girl Alexis! Just beause she most ALWAYS delets photos of herself!  I actually have NO PICS of her on our wedding! Because she deleted them!  Any ways here is a tribute to my baby! I love you so much!

I am so impessed how patient you are, you hardly ever lose you temper! You are always finding something for the kids to craft, making sure they are having a fun time. Even when you are stressed you find time for them. I love that you have a routine! Kids need that. You sing to them, something I never felt confident doing! You take them to the Library and let them pick out the books, like the one "Ailens Love Underwear"!  They adore you as their momma! You have so many talents! You make me proud! I love how many pictures you take and how good they are! You are so creative! I am so happy how much you love the gospel and that you are such a great Young Women's president. You love the girls and it shows. You are not afraid to share the gospel with those around you. You have always been giving and it continues to be so. It has been such a blessing in my life seeing how you have grown into such a beautiful woman and a wonderful mother of three of the greatest grandkids EVER! I think it is awesome that you and Brian have such a great relationship and that you see a need to always work on it! I love you my sweet girl! Thanks for being in my life!  

 I guess I liked the photo of you and the girls reading so much that I posted it TWICE! I don't know how to erase it either! Oh well!

I finally have the time to post about my WONDERFUL trip to Michigan! I twas a blast! It was so fun to surprise the girls. I can't believe Lexie and I kept it a secret for so long! My plane was delayed so we had to make a few adjustments! I was supposed to ride the bus to E. Lansing and show up at the Ice Cream store where they were going to be. Instead Lexie had to come pick me up in Detroit, 1 & 1/2 hours away! She told the girls they were going for ice cream. I can't believe they fell for it for that long! Any way, Lexie told them they were lost and they needed to ask someone for directions in the airport! I was talking to Sophie on the phone and she was telling me how momma got lost and how embarrassing it was that they had to go ask for directions! Lexie said " lets go ask this lady" and pointing to me! It took the girls a few moments to really connect that it was me! It was so fun to see their faces when they did realize it really was Naunie! We had such a fun time! We did a craft almost EVERY day! We went shopping, of course! The girls took turns sleeping with me  in the big bed. I must say they have GREAT snuggles! I just cannot get enough of them! Miles is so ADORABLE! It didn't take him long to warm up to me. It was so funny seeing him do such big boy things because he is so little! He is one SMART COOKIE! He loves to drink his juice and be a pest! He is such a tease already! Watch out girls! Thank you all so much for all the love and attention from you! I miss you so much and I can't wait till summer to see you all again!
