Poor Grandpa!

I was showing Grandpa the pictures I took this weekend and he was feeling pretty left out that I didn't take any of him! So notice the silly Grandpa in the background of this cute picture of the kids! I didn't even notice him! I guess I need to start paying more attention to him. Poor Grandpa!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Easter weekend

We had a fun Easter! We flew kites, made some goodies, colored eggs, had an egg hunt, and went to Church! The time spent with our family always goes by too quickly! The kids were fun and crazy! The weather was pretty nice and the Easter Bunny came! CANDY!  Thanks Allens for coming! We love you! Hope you all had a great Easter and can't wait til we can all be together again!

My TWO new BEST friends!

Meet the newest additions to our home! When I got home from the Phillip's "DYSON" was waiting for me in the closet! I just love it! It is so nice to vacume and really feel like it is worth the time and effort! I think our carpet loves it too!

John has been in Boise all week and he loves to go shopping while he is away - I think he gets pretty bored by himself-anyway this is what he surprised me with today! I have been wanting a mixer and YELLOW of course! I can't wait to make something in it! I am finally updated! I think everyone else owns a mixer! Even Nancy and she doesn't even cook! Thanks to my really really nice husband, who likes to spoil me! THANK YOU JOHN!  I love that man!

This is the finished bedroom! We just love it and what all the color has done for our room! Hop e you all like it too! It's amazing what paint can do to a room! 

Just gotta love SPRING in CACHE VALLEY!

As  I layed in bed this morning trying to wake up I heard the old familiar sound of what sounds like an avalanche! I thought to myself , "SNOW?". Sure enough as I looked out our door this is what I saw! Mind you yesterday was about 56 degrees and beautiful!  Now as you all know here in "Paradise" things can change quickly! This other picture is what it looked like when I returned home after work today!  Wow! That's just one of the reasons we love it here! 

Oh what a little (okay ALOT) of paint can do!

Yes I decided to do a little painting! I thought our bedroom needed a face lift. This is the last on the list of my winter projects! I am so happy because it is almost SPRING! Although by the amount of snow in our back yard it doesn't look much like it will ever come! I have been wanting to paint our room for quite awhile now. John seems to think white and off white is just fine! He is always asking me "do you KNOW just how many DIFFERENT colors there are in this house?" I reply " Yes , 19!  And isn't it great!"  The only room left the original color -bland- is the living room! In case you are wondering just what colors do we have -they are; Yellow(duh) 4 different, green- 5 different, 1 purple, red-2 different, brown - 2 different, 1 blue, tan-3 different! Wow! No one can say we are boring! Believe it or not they all work together well, at least I think so! And it's our house-so who else matters! Doesn't our new room look beautiful! John just bought us these new AWESOME lights! He does spoil me! 

What a beautiful Day!

We were driving to Logan the other night and this is the beautiful sunset we saw! It was awesome! There was a beam of light shooting straight up to the sky!  Oh how I love where we live! 

NORA IS JUST SO CUTE!

NORA would just sing and TALK ALL day long. Her little voice is so cute! I miss you Nora Grace! She was so interested in Miles belly button! It was so funny to see her reaction. I decided to change My blog since Lexie and I both posted the same!

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!

John has been so sick with a really bad cough and chest congestion so I decided to try a mustard plaster on him to see if it would relieve some of the congestion - well as you can clearly see - all I did was cause more pain! My mom said to watch it close because it can burn! Well I got busy cleaning the food storage room and told John to be careful not to let it burn him, but it will feel hot. Well i guess he didn't realize just how hot it should get and I didn't notice either! Any don"t  try this at home! I really do feel so bad!
